Focal Click Studio

Your raw files, developed by your own camera, in any recipe from the catalog. Not a Lightroom preset, not an emulation: the Studio sends your RAF to the camera over USB and the camera's processor renders the full-resolution JPEG, exactly as if you'd shot it with that recipe dialed in.

How it works

  1. 01

    Plug your camera in

Connect your Fujifilm body over USB, the same cable that came in the box. The browser talks to it directly; nothing is installed.

  2. 02

Pick a raw and a recipe

Choose any RAF from your library and any recipe from the catalog, or one of your own favourites. Adjust settings if you want.

  3. 03

    The camera develops it

The camera's own processor renders the JPEG at full resolution and it lands back in your library, recipe attached, ready to post.

This is the same trick the comparison gallery is built on: every render is verified against the settings the camera itself wrote into the file.

What you need

  • A Fujifilm X or GFX body that supports USB raw development (the same feature X RAW Studio uses).
  • Chrome or Edge, on a computer or an Android phone with a USB cable.
  • Not an iPhone, unfortunately: no browser on iOS is allowed to talk USB, so developing can't work there. Browsing your renders works everywhere.
  • Raw files uploaded to your Focal Click library.

The Studio is in a small beta

It works, and it's free. Access opens in small batches while the camera compatibility list grows, so every photographer who gets in has a setup that actually works. Tell me what you shoot and I'll get you in as support for your body lands.

No account needed. If your request is approved, the invite email creates your free account on the spot.

Meanwhile, compare the recipes
