The Lab develops your raw files on your own camera, over a USB cable, in the browser. That only works where the browser is allowed to talk to USB, and two large groups are shut out.
No browser on an iPhone or iPad can talk to USB, and Apple does not offer a way around it. Windows is a different wall: it installs its own camera driver and keeps hold of the camera, so a browser never gets to open it. In both cases there is nothing to fix in the site itself.
So a native app is planned, starting with Mac, iPhone and iPad, reusing the same Lab you already use here. On an iPhone it means plugging the camera into the phone and developing raw files with the camera's own processor, in the field, with no computer involved.
It is being built now. The full develop loop already works on my own iPhone and iPad, camera on the cable, and I am using it daily to shake out the rough edges. No date yet: I would rather show it working than promise a week.
Windows, meanwhile, got an unexpected door, found by the community: swapping the camera's driver to WinUSB with the free Zadig tool lets the browser open the camera, and the Lab works. It is a real driver change: Fujifilm's X RAW STUDIO needs the original driver back, so it is a swap you should be comfortable reversing in Device Manager. A proper fix without driver surgery would still take a native app, and I am not promising that yet.
Develop raw files on your camera from an iPhone, in the field, no computer involved. Leave an email and you'll get one message when it ships. Nothing else, ever.
