Velvia film simulation recipes

Velvia recreates Fujichrome Velvia 50, the slide film that defined landscape photography for two decades. The simulation keeps the film's signature: saturation pushed hard — especially in greens, reds and blues — with deep shadows and contrast that makes flat light look dramatic.

It rewards subjects that are already colorful. Forests, alpine light, coastlines and golden hour all gain intensity, and skies take on the dense blue the film was famous for.
